The
Bible
is
About
One
Main
Thing--
There
is
history
in
the
Bible,
some
of
which
can
be
found
nowhere
else.
But
the
Bible
is
not
a
history
book.
It
is
there
because
it
has
to
do
with
what
God
has
done
to
redeem
His
people.
There
are
laws
in
the
Bible.
But
the
Bible
is
not
a
rule
book.
They
have
to
do
with
how
we
relate
to
God
and
to
others.
There
are
stories
in
the
Bible,
many
of
which
are
dramatic.
But
the
Bible
is
not
a
story
book.
They
have
to
do
with
what
God
has
done,
is
doing
and
will
do
to
restore
broken
relationships.
And
the
greatest
story
is
about
Jesus
and
His
