Our facilities are housed in the Buswell Library, on the campus of Covenant Theological Seminary. Construction begins early this Fall (1999) on a major expansion of the Library, resulting in new and larger facilities for the PCA Historical Center. Occupancy is slated for late Autumn, 2000.

Check back soon to see architectural drawings of the new area designated for the PCA Historical Center.

The PCA Historical Center was officially established on January 2, 1985, following a motion before the General Assembly in 1984, in which the Stated Clerk urged the provision of an appropriate archives for the Church. From the 1984 Joining and Receiving, the fledgling Archives immediately inherited over 100 cubic feet of records from the Reformed Presbyterian Church, Evangelical Synod (RPCES). An additional 300 cu. ft. of records from the PCA offices in Atlanta formed the initial core of the Collection.
